Temperance
Traders Cabins offers newly constructed one and two
bedroom cabins, available for rental year-round.
To visit us in Schroeder, MN, travel 80 miles from
Duluth up scenic Highway 61 along the North Shore of
beautiful Lake Superior. Along the way you'll pass
numerous waterfalls, parks, shops, cafes and
restaurants, so be prepared to stop. You'll also
catch gorgeous views of Lake Superior from your car
window.
Our resort is located 1/4
from the Temperance River State Park and the beautiful
Temperance River waterfalls. The beaches of giant
Lake Superior are only a short walk away. You'll
be nestled on the boundary of the Superior National
Forest, which allows for immediate access to all trail
systems: Superior Hiking Trail, cross country and
snowmobile trails.
A short drive up any
forest road will take you to dozens of inland lakes, or
to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Spotting
wildlife is definitely a past-time here, and you may be
tempted to feed our resident deer herd.

Traders Gift Shop, which has been open since August of
1999. Our gift shop houses local arts and crafts,
collectibles and unique North Woods gifts and clothing. There
is also an on-site liquor store attached to our Gift
Shop.
